Maitreya Theosophy on Justice

Ananda Tara Shan, July 2002

There is justice on Earth, but it is a higher justice which is connected divinely with the karma of humanity in nations, groups, and individuals.

Seemingly, there is very little justice when justice is understood by human beings as being given a fair deal. But higher justice is evident everywhere if you can but observe with a higher consciousness what is happening in world events, in local events, and in your own experiences.

In justice you find the balance between right and wrong.

In justice you see the ramifications of good and evil deeds.

When you are a just person, you have a clear conscience because you act by the principles of the divine laws.

An aspect of justice is righteousness, which is why Jesus the Christ is called the Teacher of Righteousness and a Lord of Justice, for He was and is always acting out the divine law and meeting out justice to people on Earth.

Justice also signifies equity, fairness, honesty, integrity, and more. Human justice is equivalent to human legality.

However, where human justice often is not reasonable, honest, and fair, higher justice, which is governed by Lords and Ladies of Justice on the inner levels, is always right, although often beyond ordinary human understanding and comprehension, unless a human being is an initiate. An initiate is a highly initiated soul whose personal self is awakened to its soul's overshadowing knowledge, light, and love, consciously living the soul's purpose within the self.

Justice, therefore, is God's Laws in constant action, where the action creates conditions in your life that will accelerate your learning how to be a perfect human being who acts out of balanced emotions and thoughts with true compassion and wisdom.

A just person is a person who is acting morally and ethically in all situations.

A just person knows his or her dharma, meaning personal obligations, responsibilities, and duties, and is lawfully living them.
